We catch up with Melanin Queen Amanda and her rise to fame, from Walthamstow to Westminster.
How an inner city gal made it to the big screens and recently strutted down London fashion week along with Skepta and Adwoa Aboah.

But the modelling world hasn't always been the goal for extremely bright academic Amanda, as she spent 5 years at King's college training to be a Paediatrician; telling us "The love I had for my younger siblings was what motivated me to get into protecting children from diseases.."
After successfully completing her final year at Kings, Amanda hopes to achieve this career abroad in Sierra Leone in two years time.

It was only through social media recently that has given Amanda the platform she is in right now in the creative industry; now modelling for companies such as BALMAIN PARIS, GUCCI AND COCO CHANEL. "Getting into modelling wasn't always the plan as I've always felt like the minority amongst my peers in Kings, so i think it's really amazing I'm able to represent those of dark skin complexion and spread the message of embracing natural beauty.
